A delicious snack as a starter or simply with a drink, the bruschetta with tomato and feta will certainly be appreciated by many guests! This is due to the delicious bite of the toasted baguette and the soft, tasty combination of the feta and tomato!
Ingredients for 10 bruschetta
- 1 white baguette (may be a bit wider)
- 4 tomatoes
- 100 grams of feta
- Salty
- Pepper
- Basil
- Olive oil (for hot use)
Preparation:
- Cut the baguette into pieces of about 2 cm thick
- Drizzle the baguette with olive oil
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees
- Place the baguette with olive oil in the oven for 6-8 minutes. The sliced baguettes are ready when the white golden brown tip appears. This ensures a good bite.
- Cut the tomato in half and remove the inside. The inside is very watery, which would make the baguette a bit soggy. That's why we don't use it here.
- Cut the tomato into small cubes
- Place the tomato on the toasted sliced baguettes. Leave room for the feta
- Place the feta on the baguettes. You do this by taking the feta and 'crumbling' it.
- Sprinkle salt, pepper and basil on top. The ratio of salt is the least, then pepper and the most basil. Besides the fact that the basil makes the taste more sensational, the bruschetta also looks better. The GOV Electric Pepper Mills can help you make this dish!
- Pour a little bit of olive oil over the bruschetta, this ensures a better taste balance.
Serving tip: Serve with a nice dry white wine, such as the Hoeksche Gebroeders Huiswijn Wit .
Now you're ready to take a bite. The delicious crunch of the baguette in combination with the soft salmon will make you enjoy every bite!
