A delicious sandwich for lunch! This ciabatta is especially good when used with pre-baked ciabatta rolls, which keep them slightly warm. Making your own ciabatta is absolutely fantastic! The salty Serrano ham and the creaminess of the burrata make this sandwich one of our favorites—delicious!
Ingredients:
For two sandwiches;
- 2 ciabattas
- 8 slices of Serrano ham
- 1 ball of burrata
- Pesto
- Pine nuts
Preparation method
- Cut the ciabattas in half and spread the pesto on the bottom part
- Roast the pine nuts and sprinkle them on top of the pesto
- Place 3-4 slices of Serrano ham on each ciabatta
- Cut the burrata ball open and divide it over the two rolls
- Sprinkle the burrata with pepper. We use the GOV RVS Regular | Pepper Mill.
Variations: Add some cherry tomatoes for even more flavor or leave out the pesto to emphasize the Serrano ham.
We season with an electric salt and pepper shaker. Curious about electric grinding? Then check out the GOV Salt and Pepper Shakers | Electric below!
